The essential point in one sentence

The files you process with our tools never leave your device. The site itself, however, displays advertising and therefore sets cookies: both realities coexist and are detailed below.

Your files are never transmitted

All tools run in your browser, on your device. No file is uploaded, no network request is made carrying the content of your documents, and no server takes part in their processing. No processor therefore has access to them.

How to verify this yourself

Open a tool, press F12, Network tab, then run a process. You will see requests related to advertising and page loading — that is expected. None carries the content of your file. For an unambiguous check, disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded: the tools keep working.

Data collected on the site

Email address, when you write to us: to reply, on the basis of your own request, kept twelve months after the last exchange. Email address and order details, when you purchase: for delivery and invoicing, on the basis of contract performance, kept five years under accounting obligations. Host technical logs, including IP address: for security and abuse prevention, on the basis of our legitimate interest, kept according to the host's policy.

Local storage in your browser

The tools store your language and display preferences in your browser. This information stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and you can erase it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser settings.

Advertising and cookies

The site is funded by Google AdSense, which lets us keep every tool free and registration-free. AdSense sets advertising cookies. If you browse from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message is presented before any non-essential cookie is set: you may accept or decline, and change your choice at any time. Licensed versions delivered to our business customers contain no advertising and no advertising cookies.

Recipients of your data

Payoneer, for payment processing: email address and transaction data. Hostinger, for website hosting: technical logs. Google, for advertising: advertising identifiers and browsing data on the site, subject to your consent. None of these recipients has access to the files you process with our tools.

Transfers outside the European Union

Our providers may process data outside the European Union. These transfers rely on the safeguards set out in their respective policies, which we invite you to consult: payoneer.com, hostinger.com and policies.google.com.

Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding data concerning you. Write to privacy@toolocal.tech: we reply within thirty days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence.

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Access to order data is restricted. Our commercial deliverables come with a SHA-256 fingerprint allowing customers to verify they have not been altered.

Any substantial change will be indicated on this page, with the date at the top updated accordingly.
